Coming in four port (SM-EDPN-4Q) and two port (SM-EDPN-2Q) varities, the switch supports up to four 4K@60 monitors switching between two (2Q) and four (4Q) inputs. A key feature of the SM-EDPN is EDID emulation, a new feature which removes the issue of mis-aligned images when switching between the different computers. Without EDID emulation windows, icons, and monitor order rearranging creates a problem for the user, as it leads to them spending valuable time reloading the entire setup every time they change to a new input source.
