SDSC-2002

The SDSC-2002 is a flexible and cost effective wall plate transmitter and compact receiver solution for extending 4K HDMI resolution video, DisplayPort and USB signals together with POC (remote power over cable). The pair of units are supplied as a convenient UK size double gang transmitter wall/floor plate (SDSC—TX2002) together with its complementary compact receiver.

The SDSC-TX2002 transmitter wall plate is designed to accept the connection of two separate devices. One device can connect video via HDMI up to 18Gbps with a separate USB 2.0 connection for control. The other device can connect via Mini DisplayPort up to 5.2Gbps and USB 2.0 with its own connector. Selection between the devices can be achieved by either the toggle button on the panel or the auto feature which means the last connected device wins.

The SDSC-RX2000 receiver unit connects to the wall plate via a single Cat 6/6a cable at a distance of up to 70m. The receiver present the video out on a single HDMI connector together with an analogue stereo audio output, de-embedded from the HDMI signal. There is also a HDMI input which allows a local PC to be connected and switched through to the main output when there is no signal from the wall plate. A dual pair of USB B connectors provide the means to connect peripherals to the wall plate connected computer.
